This lovely neck rope is rolled leather that is comfortable in the hands and features an adjustable buckle with punched holes to shorten or lengthen the length of the neck rope.

The rolled leather diameter is approximately  0.6" and the length of the entire neck rope is 50" long. Adjustable to fit even large necked horses.

Available in black or dark brown.

Leather neck ropes are safer than nylon neck ropes due to be more likely to break in the event they get caught on something or a horse manages to get a leg through the loop.

Banksy neck rope

Used it on mare with a bitless bridle, I like the concept of it and she did pretty well at the walk and trot for the first time, my problems with it are it is rather large for her neck (had to punch extra hole to make it smallest I could, still too big but better) it was awkward to hold when used with a bridle and when I cleaned it a lot of the leather dye(black) came off and I found the leather to be rather stiff, maybe due to the rolled leather,if came in a smaller option I would have liked it better.
