The bestselling “Harlow” bridle is an anatomical bridle created to prevent rubbing by leaving room for the cheek bones and contouring around sensitive areas. This bridle is unique in that it is made without a flash, drop noseband or crank noseband. The underside of the chin strap has a padded chin guard to allow for comfort along the bottom of the jaw. The crown is a padded monocrown for extra comfort and is shaped to leave room for the ears.
This bridle is intended for sensitive horses to allow for optimal comfort without the presence of a flash or any type of noseband engineered with the purpose of trying to keep the mouth strapped closed.
Named after Shelby’s sensitive Thoroughbred mare, Harlow, this bridle has been a game changer for Harlow’s head shaking and overall comfort under saddle and has done the same for many other horses!
Note: These fit a bit large. If your horse is between sizes, sizing down would be the best option as they have a lot of adjustment.
We offer semi custom sizing as well for an additional charge.
Comes with a pair of webbed reins.

I ordered the Harlow bridle in black, it beat all of my expectations. The leather is beautiful and soft. My gelding seems to love it as well! I would have given 5 stars, except one if the straps on the crownpiece came with leather that looks and feels as though it went through a grinder. Like that little section rotted before it was dyed. I sent an email the moment I unpackaged it and saw it asking about a replacement crownpiece or if it was normal, and did not get a response. So, I am left wondering how soon I will have to purchase a new one and hoping it won't break mid ride.
I was very happy with the look and feel of the bridle. I assume it will slowly become more shaped to the face. I am a little concerned about the shaping at the ears. It seems a little close to the base of the ear.
I really like the dropped browband and the understated stitching on the noseband.

Absolutely love this bridle! I got one in black and one in brown. The leather quality is amazing. I would definitely recommend sizing down. My horses old bridle was a warmblood/oversized, but I got the Harlow bridle in full size. I’m glad I did, they are very adjustable, which is great since my horse has a very large head length wise but not too big around. She’s on the last/tightest hole for the nose band for the Harlow bridle (there’s room to punch extra holes as needed). Over all very impressed!
