Addressing Severe Trailering Anxiety: A Case Study Series

This is a multi-part video series of my work with Merlin, an Arabian with severe trailering anxiety. As per his owner, he was difficult to load and would get worked up to the point of being covered in sweat from head to toe even for short trailering rides.

This series goes through the first 6 sessions in working through his anxiety with my systematic rewards based approach and how we break down the process of shaping loading and building duration in the trailer to not only create a horse who loads with ease, but also to address the most important part: that internal emotional state.

The goal with this type of training is to change the stress response to the trailer and work through the trauma to help alleviate anxiety. 

This video bundle includes the first 6 sessions which is over 3 hours of footage of the entire training process with me talking through it step by step.

Proceeds for the sale of this bundle go towards my project of subsidizing training costs to make horse training more accessible and donating training sessions to rescue horses and/or people in need of help with their horses from low income backgrounds.

NOTE: 

this is an ongoing case study that is still in progress. There will be more videos to come that will be available. This purchase includes the first six videos which go over the foundational process of trailer loading. By the end of this particular series, this Horse is walking onto the trailer without hesitation. But there is still more shaping work that we are doing to ensure the longevity of the behaviour and also help him with anxiety when the trailer is in motion.
